The Women Caribbean Men Like 

 

You most likely have often heard about the Caribbean or may have often wished to visit or might have even gone there and loved the vibes — but do you understand why the territories are called islands of the Americas? That’s because on the north side of a large body of water called the Caribbean Sea is situated North America while South America is situated on the south side of that sea with one set of islands on the eastern fringes and another set of islands on the western fringes called the Caribbean islands. Visualize a basin and you will picture the exact appearance of the continents of North and South America and the islands of the Caribbean. If the Caribbean Sea did not separate those islands - instead of being islands, those lands would have connected the continents of north and south America at the sides with the sea in the middle. Having said that - have you ever thought about the kinds of women Caribbean men like?

 

 

Well, it is true that the Caribbean islands are in many cases situated quite close to the U.S. mainland but the concepts of Caribbean men regarding the women they find attractive, are notably different in many respects. Like any conscious man whether in the U.S.A. or anywhere else in the world, the typical Caribbean man is fond of a woman who pays more than the usual attention to her hygiene as well as her physical appearance.

 

For example a significant percentage of the men in Jamaican - an island located just 560 miles west of Miami Florida and one that is so beautiful that it is called “Paradise Isle” by many across the world who have been guests of that country’s extremely friendly people, are very fond of plump women It is also similar in the other Caribbean territories. Of course some Caribbean men prefer the usual Hollywood “model type” women as their wives but you can rest assured that many of those men will still hide around the corner to indulge in infidelity by dating an attractively plump woman - on the side. However it is not difficult to find a Caribbean  man who is only fond of marrying a curvy, plump woman - which is also true of the typical African American man. One of the things that stands out in the typical Jamaican man is that he likes to know that the woman in his life is neatly dressed every time she leaves the home, regardless where she is going. So in Jamaica it is natural to see well attired women wherever one travels.    

    

Other Things Caribbean Men Like About Their Women            

 

For the most part Caribbean Men believe that all of us humans have a maker, who is GOD the Almighty, creator of the majestic Universe and all that’s in it. So the typical Caribbean man believes that a woman's hair on her head and her body are symbols of her GOD given beauty and attractiveness, given to her by the one who knows best — GOD. The typical Caribbean  man therefore does not like the idea of a woman cutting off her hair under normal circumstances, except to remove loose ends.

 

The Caribbean man focusing on marriage, yearns for a woman who is very industrious, not the type who only believes in eating out. This helps to explain why apart from KFC, American fast foods don’t do well in Jamaica. The Jamaican man bears in mind that the wife who maintains a secular job has it tough to also maintain a home. So he understands if his wife can’t cook everyday and will help her do the cooking but all things considered, the wife of the Caribbean man is best advised to at least know how to prepare his meals and do it at least a few times per week. It must also be noted that a Jamaican man loves the lady in his life dearly, when she knows how to bake - and - bakes him a cake or ‘sweet’ potato pudding every now and then. He will also cherish her when she proves to be a good home maker— one who keeps a well arranged and tidy surrounding,. 

 

Today even though millions of couples as well as singles worldwide are indulging in alternative lifestyles of every possible sexual variance in much greater numbers than ever before, including indulgence in illicit behavior that would shock many, the typical Caribbean man still believes in the lifestyle he says he sees in his Bible—a man to a woman and a woman to a man. Could that explain why it is said that some Caribbean nations including Jamaica, are homophobic? Knowing that Caribbean men for the most part like to please women, the homophobic accusation might have instead come from something else. However bearing in mind that many Caribbean countries including Jamaica rely heavily on tourism dollars and considering that there has been a reduction in Caribbean tourism for the last three years with Jamaica showing a 4% decline, it is very likely that many traditional values will change soon — or maybe that change has begun!

 

An October 31, 2007 Jamaica Gleaner report carried in the Jamaica News Room at patrickoneil.com, has revealed that Jamaica’s Ministry of Education is instructing high school teachers to start teaching students that there are three viable family options — a man forming a union with a man, a woman forming a union with a woman or a man forming a union with a woman.  The Gleaner report also revealed that:- “an assignment was given for the students to find photos that depict the different family types. Two photos depicting male as well as female homosexual unions were submitted as a part of the assignment and the student was given an A+ for her efforts”, said The Jamaica Gleaner.

 

Only time will tell how the typical Jamaican man as well as men from the other Caribbean islands will react.
